Healthy Activities
Health,
happiness & fun!
Chancellor Park’s recreation department helps our residents to stay active, stimulated and engaged. Daily, evening and weekend programs take place inside resident neighbourhoods, in larger group settings as well as in outside gardens. We offer a range of activities to keep the blood moving and the mind stimulated. From our multi-sensory therapy program, fitness activities, arts and creative pursuits, holiday celebrations, pet therapy, card games, bingo or an afternoon tea, there’s always something for our residents to get up to at Chancellor Park.
“ I feel the capacity to care is the thing which gives life its deepest significance. ”
Pablo Casals

Let there be music!
Nothing brings the Chancellor Park community together like music. In addition to large group activities like choir and other specialized programs, residents, families and staff enjoy live musical performances weekly and during special occasions in our large multi-purpose events space.
We also have a professional singer-musician in the recreation department who performs on each unit daily and visits residents in their rooms. Music is an important part of our residents’ lives, it brightens everyone’s day, and we all look forward to it!

Staying youthful.
Through Chancellor Park’s Intergenerational programming, residents have the opportunity to interact with children in our onsite Oak Trees and Acorns Child Care Centre. It’s always a joyful occasion, and one that brings immense happiness into the lives of our residents as well as the children.

Celebrating life’s moments.
Everything we do at Chancellor Park is in the interest of enhancing our residents’ enjoyment of life. Another way we do that is by celebrating special occasions with family and friends. When birthdays, holidays and other occasions occur, our large events space is filled with music, laughter and entertainment. It’s what life is all about!

Connecting with our families.
Families are integral in helping make the best decisions for their family members. We offer many opportunities for residents and families to become involved in the decision-making process.
